Big Wave has joined #GivingTuesday, a first of its kind effort that will harness the collective power of a unique blend of partners—charities, families, businesses and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support and help create a better world.

Use: Cover 1 year of chicken expenses at the farm.
Why Donate?
1.) the individuals with developmental disabilities participate in the responsibilities and practice skills to take care of the chickens.
2.) The chickens eat insects and weeds that can be harmful to the growth of the farm produce.
3.) Holding and petting the chickens is therapy for the social and emotional health of humans.
4.) Chicken poop provides nutrient rich compost for farm soil.
5.) Eggs are sold to create income for the farm.
